Demo Day @ Microsoft Belgium
Yesterday I was at the second demo day organized by Microsoft Belgium. As I’m used to technical presentations, my expectations weren’t that high. But I was so wrong! Almost all presentation were about the cloud and all presentations were done by very skilled people.
I avoided to follow presentations on SharePoint as I want to get a better insight in the other products Microsoft is offering so I followed presentations on Lync, XRM Online, Dynamics NAV, Hybrid Cloud (mixing cloud and on-premise). I just couldn’t resist following the session on FAST given by Jan Tielens: very well built up and very clear, as always. But it was Bart Vierbergen with his presentation on CRM Online and Office 365 that got the drive in me in a higher gear.
And on top of this excellent day, I was so lucky to win the XBox with Kinect! Now I’m awaiting impatiently for the Kinect for Windows SDK beta to become available

I’m Karine Bosch and I’m a SharePoint developer. Since April 2009 I’m rewarded as SharePoint MOSS MVP. For several years I worked as technical assistant for Patrick Tisseghem who unfortunately died on 3th September 2008. After I left U2U, I started working part time for Spikes NV and for Critical Path Training of Ted Pattison and Andrew Connell (the former Ted Pattison Group). As of January 2011 I start working for ING, which is a banking company.
The U2U CAML Query Builder and some other SharePoint features like the U2U List Properties feature and the U2U Site Properties are developed by me and are still downloadable from the U2U site at http://www.u2u.be/res/software.aspx.
Together with Patrick we developed the alfa and beta versions of the Silverlight BluePrint for SharePoint which contains several samples on how to integrate Silverlight with SharePoint. You can download the samples from http://www.codeplex.com/SL4SP.
